Wednesday, March 28th, 2012 is a day that I will never forget. Don and I were getting our Viper out of out trailer at Jays Body Shop and my cell phone rang. It was a number that I did not recognize so I answered the phone, " This is Jennifer". A voice on the other line said, do you have a daughter named Jaime and I said yes. He said she has been in an accident and I am holding her. At that very moment, all the life was instantly sucked out of me. I turned to Don and said we have go, Jaime has been in an accident. It happened on Reiman Rd which was not far from where were we at. We turned the corner and I saw my little girl's car upside down in the ditch..........again, I can not describe the sickness I was feeling. We got to the scene and she laying out in the field, wrapped in a blanket, crying but alive. Thank you God!!!! From then on things are sort of a blur. The scene was hetic, a lot of people. I rode in the ambulance to the hospital. I heard her cry most of the way.I was helpless and couldnt hold her. I was a wreck. After tests and being checked out, it was determined that she was fine. She would be stiff and sore but ok. Actually, not a scratch on her. Don and I felt very blessed by all the calls and texts of concerns and prayers. We were amazed and how fast word got out and how fast people began to contact us. We left hospital at 10:30 and came on home. Jaime went to school half day on Thursday and went to field trip on Friday. On Saturday, today, she and Don went to the Clay Township PD and she received her ticket for Failure to Control. She will probably loose her license again but what can you do. I love her with all my heart and soul. Thank you God and thank you to the man, Bruce Adams, for pulling my little girl out of her car.
My baby girl............
