Heathers 40th Birthday Party

Yea!!!! It was actually a suprise. My friend Heather turns 40 on November 29th and I wanted to throw her a party. So I planned everything for Friday, November 25th at Cousinos Steakhouse. I told her that we were having a get together for my daughter Jaimes birthday, which is on November 30th. BUT....when she walked up the stairs everyone started singing Happy Birthday and then she knew.Everything went off without a hitch and we all had the best time. She was truly suprised and very grateful!!!

I love Jaime's friends...............

Bowen Michael ISH

Today, Don and I legally have a 4th grandchild. It was the final hearing before Bowen officially became an ISH.THe whole family went to the Ottawa County Courthouse to hear the judge finally grant Bowen to his adoptive parents, Brad and Jenny Ish. Was a total miracle. We all cried.

Miss Macie Jean

After we celebrated Christmas, Macie decided to spend the night with Nany and Papa. She has not spent the night here before so this was going to be fun and interesting. We took a hot tub...had chocolate milk and then went to bed. About 2 hours into the night, I moved her to Jaimes bed due to the fact that she was sleeping sideways and totally smacked me in the face!!! Next day we went to church and to Wendys before we took her home.

SURPRISE

On Saturday, November 19th, all the kids came to our house to celebrate Jaimes birthday. Little did they know that I had so much more planned for them. Don and I actually wanted to celebrate Christmas with all of them because we had decided to give them all money this year. This worked out great because this was the weekend before Thanksgiving. I also wanted to have some suprises for the grandkids. Wouldnt you know that Mrs. Claus stopped by. She bought cookies to decorates, she had certificates from Santa for each of the kids, she had special paper for them to make Christmas lists and she special lights for them to put in their window on Christmas night. We had Tacos for dinner...we had desserts and plenty of snacks. We had so much fun. Thank you so much to my special friend Diane for making it such a special night!!!!!Also...a HUGE thanks to my neice Staci for helping me design all the certificates.

Auto Tour

Today, my parents, Don, Jaime and I all went to lunch today at Neenerz after Don,I and Jaime went to church. Then after lunch, we took the auto tour at the Ottawa County Wildlife Refuge and then we drove through Crane Creek. The fall colors were gorgeous. We saw many eagles, probably a dozen or more but they were too far away to take pictures, We did see some ducks, deer and a woodpecker.I got a few pics of them. It was a PERFECT afternoon. I LOVE hangin with my mom and dad, Enjoy the pictures.
